The Sovereignty of God

Jude 25 “To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” (KJV)

Is the God you worship, a sovereign God to you;
Having the authority to tell you what to do?
Have you given God the reins to guide you through each day?
Or do you hold the right to choose your own pathway?

Sovereignty is a word not preached on much these days.
The authority of God to be right in all His ways.
God chooses His own will and has this total right.
He also has the power to fulfill it by His might.

God has the right to govern without outside control.
With the power of enforcement; His rule should be our goal.
Our will must bow to His or He's not Got at all.
To try to rule ourselves is what brought about the fall.

God demands our will to be subject unto His.
Is this your life's experience? Is that the way it is?
Surrender and submission, His will thus to obey,
Will bring both peace and blessing to us in every day.

Revelation 5:11-13 “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the
throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten
thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was
slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in
the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be
unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever” (KJV)
